Plan Review with a Designer’s Eye
When you’re building a custom home, every decision you make on paper will affect how it feels in real life. My plan review service is where we make sure the bones of your home are exactly right before anything is set in stone (or concrete).I don’t just look at your plans — I walk through them in my mind, imagining the way the home will function day to day. I consider how light will move through the rooms, how furniture will fit, where you’ll want outlets for lamps or charging stations, and how the flow will feel as you live in it.What You Get

How We Work Together
You send me the plans — ideally in CAD format so I can dive deep and create accurate furniture layouts and flow diagrams.
I review and reimagine — moving through the home step by step, considering proportion, sight lines, and functionality.
We meet to review — I present my recommendations, explain why each change is suggested, and we decide which adjustments to move forward with.
Final mark-ups — I deliver your updated plan mark-ups or CAD layouts, ready for you and your architect/builder to incorporate into the working set.
Typical Timeline
Initial review and notes: 3–5 business days after receiving plans.
Meeting & feedback session: Within 1 week of plan delivery.
Final deliverables: 2–4 business days after feedback session.
This process saves time, money, and frustration down the road. By catching functional issues, awkward layouts, or missed opportunities early, we can create a home that is both stunning and livable—before construction even begins.
